Two new, more effective ways to relieve pain.
Two of the newer types equipment are the intersegmental traction and the iontophoresis. These two devices operate in different ways than traditional traction and current therapy to dramatically reduce pain, inflammation and muscle spasms. The iontophoresis and the Intersegmental traction treat tension headaches, myositis, muscle strain, sprains, and tendentious with excellent results.
We're fully equipped to help our patients get better.
At the Advanced Back Center, you'll find a full range of equipment and therapies. We're so concerned about providing advanced treatment that we've made an effort to get the newest equipment available.
Equipment like electric stimulation, high voltage galvanic stimulation, and transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation also help us treat pain and swelling.
Exercises are a very important part in recovery. Home exercise programs to strengthens quadriceps, hamstrings, ankle plantar-flexors, ankle dorsi-flexors, and shoulder flexion/abduction are key to ovoid recurrences. Other exercise programs, are available in a more formal setting if necessary which would include trunk extension and rotation units, free weights, lift dynamometers, exercise cycles, and pulleys are also used in the programs.
And, of course you'll find ultrasound, ice, moist heat, traditional lumbar and cervical traction to aid in pain relief and rehabilitation.
